Petal Sepal

A sepal is a part of the flower of angiosperms (flowering plants). Sepals in most flowers are green and lie under the more conspicuous petals. The collective term for all the sepals is the calyx, the collective term for all the petals is the corolla and together the calyx and corolla are called the perianth.
