San marzano tomatoes are considered by many chefs to be the best sauce tomatoes in the world. Originally from Italy, this plant produces 5-7cm (2-3in) long oblong plum tomatoes that are rich in flavour with heavy walls and little juice. Produces over a long season, this plant is semi-determinate.
