Growing
Edit
Sow seeds thinly in rows 30 cm (12 in) apart. Cover lightly with 1.5 cm (half inch) of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks. When harvesting select young carrots alternately from the row, allowing the remainder to develop fully. No other thinning is needed if sown thinly. Keep well watered to prevent roots splitting.
