Sow indoors from January to March for greenhouse crops, March to April for outdoor crops. Sow thinly in pots or trays of seed compost, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approximately 15-20°C (60-68°F). Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days.
When plants reach a height of 10cm (4in) transplant to individual pots and keep at approximately 15°C (60°F).
Transplant to growing positions April-May.
Stand outside for a few days in late May (avoid frosts). Transplant to a sunny spot outside.
Once fruit is fully ripened. June to October for greenhouse crops and August to October for outdoor.
