A bag of B&Q John Innes No.2 compost

John Innes No.2 is used for general potting of most house plants and vegetable plants into medium size pots or boxes. Contains double the amount of nutrient in John Innes No.1 to suit established plants.

Ingredients

• 7 parts loam
• 3 part peat
• 2 part sand

For each cubic metre of mix, the following is added:

• 0.6kg (1lb 5oz) ground lime
• 2.4kg (5lb 4½oz) hoof and horn
• 2.4kg (5lb 4½oz) superphosphate
• 1.2kg (2lb 10oz) potassium sulphate
