GrowingEdit

LocationEdit

Choose a sunny well-drained spot and keep the ground watered in dry weather.[2]

SowingEdit

Sow seeds from April where the plants are to grow. Thin to 30cm (12in) once seedlings have emerged.[2]

Do not transplant.

HarvestEdit

Gather leaves while they are still young.[2]

To harvest seeds; cut the stem when the flower-head has turned brown. Tie a paper bag over each head and hang upside-down in bunches.[2]
