Charlotte potato seed produce potatoes that have a pale yellow skin and flesh. A good salad/boiling spud with excellent flavour. Reliable and high yielding.^[4]

It has excellent resistance to tuber blight, but poor resistance to leaf blight. It also has average resistance to common scab and very poor resistance to potato cyst nematode.^[4]
