Ammazzo is a medium-hot variety of chilli. 'Ammazzo' translates as 'small bunch of flowers'. This very unusual, 90cm (3ft) tall, ornamental pepper bears clusters of 8 to 15 individual fruits which measure 1¼cm (½in) long and 1½cm (¾in) wide and resemble small red marbles. The peppers mature from dark green to red in 75-90 days and although they are edible, the plant is best used as an ornamental.[1]
