GrowingEdit

LocationEdit

Mint will thrive in most garden soils in most location. Keep it from overrunning the site by growing in a container or sinking metal or plastic sheets into the soil around the plant or by lifting and replanting each year.[1]

PlantingEdit

Plant roots 5cm (2in) deep and 25cm (9in) apart in autumn or spring.

AftercareEdit

If you are not uprooting and replanting between seasons; apply a top dressing of compost in autumn.[1]

HarvestingEdit

Harvest all summer as required by removing individual leaves.
